Slow performance after installing or updating Bob

If you are using a Mac computer, you might have installed the wrong version of Bob for your hardware.

Verify your system architecture to ensure you have the correct Bob version installed:

1. Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner
2. Select About This Mac
3. Look for the Chip information:
   • Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, etc.) - Use the mac-ARM version
   • Intel processor - Use the mac-intel version

If you have the wrong version installed:

1. Download the correct version for your hardware from the Bob distribution site. For more information, see the Download Bob box folder.
2. Uninstall your current version.
3. Select, download, and install the correct version for your system.
